Reflection

In this class, I learned how to use powerpoint effectly. Making many slides, I can understood more epoch-making work. In addition, I enjoyed my friends' slides. I have confidence to speech in English in front of people.

Summer Camp:Study

I will tell you about study in summer camp. In summer camp, we did not only activities but also study. However, the study was not difficult, but very interesting lessons; for example, everyone became storyteller and told our experience, we learned cultures, idioms, and restaurant English. I introduce about lessons a little bit.

If you are waiter or waitress, when foreigners come to your restaurant, you try to use it!
In summer camp’s study was very helpful and interesting! In addition, our class time was only 3 hours per day! The other times are for playing game!! Awesome!!

Manners

First I’ll tell you about public manners which you must not do in Japan. When you get on train, you mustn’t call, put on make up, talk loudly, and drinking and eating are not good. If men get on train, you should take carefully, because in Japan there is train which only women can get on.
In street, you mustn’t smoke with walking, sit on street, for example, don’t sit on in front of convenience store, and if you do something bad thing, you should apologize.
As a handy piece of information, it’s good for you when you go shopping, you bring your shopping bag and when you eat in restaurant, and you haven’t to pay chips. In addition to this, you don’t worry about not coming Christmas card, because we don’t have such a custom, but we send New Year card. When you send them, you take carefully not to send for person who is in mourning.

Mid-Autumn Festival

I’m going to talk about moon cake.
Moon cake is traditional food eaten in Mid-Autumn Festival. Typical moon cakes are round or rectangular pastries. It contains lotus seed, yolks from salted duck eggs. Egg yolks symbolize the full moon.

Traditional moon cakes printed the Chinese characters; it means “longevity” or “harmony”. There are many kinds of moon cakes, for example, it contains azuki beans, pumpkin seeds, nuts, peanuts, and durians and so on.
Traditional cakes are so high in calories, because they are made with lard and a lot of sugar, but modern cakes are healthier than before. Some are made of yogurt, jelly, and fat-free ice cream. New flavors are cream cheese, tiramisu, green tea, chocolate and so on. In these days, moon cakes are easy to eat for young people.

World heritage of Poland

My name is Chie, I’m going to talk about history of the Wieliczka Salt Mine.

The Wieliczka Salt Mine is located in southern Poland near the city of Krakow. Two million years ago, Wieliczka became land, because of movement of the earth‘s crush, and seawater evaporated, then be made huge layer. In the thirteen century, digging of Wieliczka Salt Mine became serious and the salt that can be gotten in there is called “white gold”, then that brought vast riches in Poland. The depth of the mine was dug spent seven hundred years is three hundred meters. It length is three hundred kilometers. You can see it even now.

To pray for safety of work, miners who work there built a chapel in the mine. One of them, the Chapel of the Blessed Kinga dug 101 meters underground is held of mass on Sundays or be held a wedding ceremony. All of the objects in this chapel, for example, altar, sculptures and chandeliers are made from rock salt, so sight seers are surprised by them. The sculptures are made by not sculptors but miners.

◇Disneyland in Florida◇

Hi, I’m Chie.
I researched about parade. In Florida Disney Land, there are many parades which differ from Tokyo Disney Land. Florida Disney Land’s parade used mainly fireworks. We can see many of them only in Florida.　For example, we can see new spectacle “Reflectionｓ of Earth.” We are excited by special effects, colorful rays and magnificent music.
Wishes is based on our wishes. The show is very romantic, because a lot of familiar music is used to dance. Competing of many kinds of color variations is so beautiful. Tinker Bell flies above your head too. If you see this parade, your wishes will surely come true.
Disney Dreams Come True Parade is so gorgeous. It is performed by a complete cast of Disney characters. Fans of Disney had better see it!
“SrectroMagic” Parade　is a gorgeous night parade of lights and music. The parade is like treasures, it is so brilliant! We can see a moment like dreams.　That’s all. Thank you for listening so quietly and attentively!
